Men today continue to die younger than women of causes such as drug overdose, heart disease, cancer, accidents, suicide, and murder. But even in today's stressful world it is possible to increase our wellness and quality of life by becoming more intentional with our time, energy, emotions, bodies, and relationships.
The MWM Project was founded by wellness professionals with more than three decades of experience focusing on effective ways to identify stress and respond in healthy ways. Through a series of facilitated virtual and in-person group discussions and exercises (including individual self-care coaching sessions) men are encouraged to create unique goals and plan lives they actually want to live.
Too many men experience loneliness, depression, low self-esteem, and hopelessness of as the result of our world and experiences. Working with the MWM Project, men learn and grow, encouraged to explore a range of issues including friendship, masculinity, intimacy, fathering, communication, sexuality, fear, stress and minority stress, and spirituality. When men devote energy to identifying and meeting their own needs, everybody benefits.
